Sunday Funday

Met up with the guys for a little downtown skating. The crew consisted of myself, Sam, Jovi, Sean, Forrest, Eric, Ramon, Andy and Gabe.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-9First spot was a pole jam they jury-rigged.  Forrest got going with a no-comply pole jammer after a concerned citizen hopped in a pay phone* and alerted the authorities who didn’t seem to want to bother with dealing with us.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-2Sam was impressed.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-1Sean not so much…  After this Sean and Andy said their farewells and we soldiered on.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-4After a snack stop we checked out this alley way.  Eric got up on a nose slide while the rest of the guys got down on Jovi’s Sun Chips.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-5We made out way to Main Street where pedestrians popped out of nowhere, and were oblivious to pretty much everything.  Meanwhile, outside of their bubble, Jovi snagged a half-cab nose slide around the corner.

Downtown SLC session 4-14-13 Michael Chandler Photography-7Last spot had something for everyone: a ledge, a manual pad, a gap to wallride, a sketchy rail, and a taller loading dock.  Ramon took a liking to the taller dock, and wallied off it to the lower one.

It was a solid day all around, and we capped it off with pizza!

*Yes, a pay phone.  The concerned citizen made her apparence before I showed up, and then made a b-line for a pay phone.  I have no idea where the thing was, or that it could connect to anyone but a drug dealer, but thats how she called the police.
